The idea behind the creation of this Soap Calculator comes from a simple yet significant observation: there is currently no comparable tool available.
For decades, we have been working in the field of soap machinery and equipment for soap manufacturing. Over the years, we have built solid partnerships with key players in the industry like SAS Mariani for new soap machinery and AC SOAP MACHINES for refurbished equipment dedicated to solid soap manufacturing.
Our extensive experience in the soap industry, from small-scale production up to large industrial soap manufacturing, has allowed us to clearly identify a recurring need shared by soap makers at every level: a reliable, accurate, and user-friendly tool capable of calculating key parameters necessary for soap formulation and soap manufacturing. These include Total Fatty Matter (TFM), anhydrous soap content, moisture (water content in the soap) glycerin quantity in the final soap, iodine value of the raw material blend, and other essential properties.
Whether you are an independent soap maker or part of a large scale soap production facility, understanding these values is crucial. Accurate data from the very beginning of the process leads to better production consistency, quality, and efficiency. Despite the clear need for such a tool, no comprehensive soap calculator had ever been available — until now.
Driven by our technical knowledge and direct connection with the real world challenges of soap manufacturing, we decided to create a solution ourselves. This Soap Calculator was born out of that initiative: a practical, precise, and intuitive tool designed to support both professionals and enthusiasts in producing high-quality soap with confidence and clarity.
